UNDERSTANDING THE GPAT EXAM ?

The GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted to evaluate the eligibility of pharmacy graduates for admission into M.Pharm programs and for awarding fellowships. It is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and serves as a gateway for postgraduate studies and research opportunities in pharmacy at recognized institutions across India.

Key Highlights:

Conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) once a year on behalf of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Exam Structure:
Single paper with 125 multiple-choice questions covering:
• Pharmaceutical Chemistry
• Pharmacology
• Pharmacognosy
• Pharmaceutics and other core pharmacy subjects

Clearing GPAT qualifies candidates for M.Pharm admissions and fellowship opportunities, enabling them to pursue advanced studies and research in the field of pharmacy at top institutes across India.
